The boat was seen by thousands and most did not have a clue that this was a 42 year old wooden boat. The cockpit deck was removed to show the actual construction of the only undefeated famous ocean racer was really of wood.
Barcone Marine has maintained Ghost Rider for 40 years and coninues to keep the vessel in pristine condition. As a final port, the champion vessel may cross the Atlantic to it's original home in England, to the English National Maritine Museum which has requested the presence of it's most famous ocean racer........undefeated in it's debut in 1966, across the waters of Europe, Bahamas and America.

Bristol, RI - Woodworking and fabrication center for exterior and interior finishing of hulls and decks. Complete design includes custom made interior furnishings, special fittings and deck furniture. Site of engine installtion and rigging activities.

Scranton, PA - State of the Art machine tooling and die cast center for custom building of the Barcone Daytona Turbo and Supercharged 800 hp 496 cu in marine engines. Engines are available in 325 hp, 400 hp and 475 hp models.

Barcone Marine Corp. has over 50 years of experience in design and building of classical, commercial, pleasure and performance boats. We are available to consult on your special project.

New projects underway at this time include the restoration of two veteran offshore racers dating back to the 1960's. The duo include a 28' Magnum and a 19' Donzi. Barcone Marine pilots ran these boats when they were new models. The speed of the finished boats should exceed 80 mph handily and provide much entertainment in the Poker Run circuit at a cost of one-half of a new floor model. On the sailing front is an antique Chesapeake Bay Sloop dating back to the early 20th century. We rebuild boats of special interest and performance.

A new restoration project is underway of a 1967 32' Barcone as an open center console with hardtop cuddy cabin forward finished in beautiful mahagony and teakwood trim with teak finished sole decks with a comfotable aft sunlounge arrangement.

It is available for further custom finishing to client specifications. Power is available in any format, imboard or outboard, diesel or gasoline.

Barcone Marine Corporation woodworking facilities are located in the Northeast at Bristol, RI. Barcone will transport your vessel to the plant if required for the optimun quality work. Barcone will transport boats up to 42' that are able to be trailered.
